Just as an addendum to the previous post, this doesn’t mean I want to eat loads of meat now. Still plan to base my diet around veg and seafood.
Though I’m not keen on all seafood. Been eating some NZ greenlip mussels recently. Never been a huge fan of mussels – there’s just too much anatomy in one mouthful.
Addendum to addendum:
Driving up a mountain pass road the other day, we got stuck behind a truck full of sheep on their way to an abattoir. The smell of them pissing themselves was enough to remind me of the horrors of the mainstream meat industry. Furthermore, passing abattoirs it’s grim to see they have big “Hazchem” signs. Surely hazardous chemicals have no place in the preparation of food.
